One from a numbered edition of 175 signed by Peter Max. 

This vintage serigraph, created and printed by Peter Max almost half a century ago, displays a rare composition for the artist. His subjects wear Asian-inspired clothing, full of pattern, movement and color - indelible memories from his childhood growing up in Shanghai. 

The subject's faces and hair are rendered in elegantly simple, black line work creating beautifully subdued expressions. They are framed by minimalist, colored lines and negative space, focusing the viewer on the intention of the work through the quiet space around them. They engage in their intimate conversation. This rare and elgant print, from a small edition size, is a truly distinctive work in the catalogue of Max's oeuvre.
