Created and printed almost half a century ago, this exquisite serigraph represents the artist's transformation from his internationally-renown 'Cosmic Art' period of the 1960s to his drawing style that emerged later in the 1970s. 

The artist's bold, definitive lines from his 'Cosmic Art' era become more fluid and calligraphic, resonating the influence of Picasso and Matisse. The daring, fauvist color of his previous work is now softened, with gentle washes of soft, pink rose, sky blue and sand. 

The lovely lady rests contently on her sofa as a colorful flourish of clouds unveils over her bare shoulders. This beautiful and graceful work holds an engaging simplicity coupled with creative sophistication so prevalent in the artist's works from this period in the 1970s.
