Max's 'Two Hearts III' is an exuberant, expressionistic painting with sumptuous and sensual strokes and bold, fauvist color that captures the excited and inspiring energy of love. This painting is an extraordinary example of Max's animated and spontaneous brushwork and his rousing and vibrant color choices. 

In the early 1990s, Peter Max created a series of heart paintings to celebrate the '90s as the 'Decade of the Heart.' The artist wanted to honor Americans sharing and giving in the arts - celebrating a country with a heart. His 'Heart' paintings have become a collector favorite.
