Peter Max's 'Instant Nutriment 2' is an extraordinary and definitive work from his 1960s 'Cosmic Art' period. This rare, vintage poster defines the hallmarks of this period for Max - with its intricate line work, brilliant, powerful color and ethereal and transcendent forms. 

Max was exploring his own fascination with inner and outer space, and the unlimited possibilities of the cosmos and human consciousness. Created at the height of the hope, achievement and optimism of the Space Age, it is an historic Max work that spoke to a generation.
