Peter Max's celebrated 'Heart' paintings are a collector favorite. He began painting his 'Heart Series' in the 1990s to celebrate the 'Decade of the Heart.' The artist wanted to honor Americans sharing and giving in the arts - celebrating a country with a heart. 

The artist's exuberant, sumptuous and sensual brushwork and bold, fauvist color captures the excited and inspiring energy of love.
